Thank you so much for considering us for your hair and make up needs on your most special day. Please take a moment to read through all of our paperwork as we take you through your journey. We want to make sure we are all on the same page so we know what to expect from each other and there are no surprises. We want nothing but the best for you and to provide 5 star service we are known for.

How do I start the process of booking with ATOC?

Please fill out our contact page with as many details as you can provide us. We will then return your inquiry within 48 hours. We ask to please always reach out via email so we can email you all contract information, updates and anything bridal related.This keeps us and you organized so we don’t lose any communication or details along the way. Shary is the coordinator of everything weddings so she is your go to at all times. Makeupbyss@gmail.com. When emailing please put your name maiden name and date of wedding in the header. This is super helpful for us.

Can I just book you for my big day?

Yes, you have 2 options: 1) Put down your non-refundable, non transferable retainer of $300 via venmo. Once you do so your date timing will be protected and your service providers will be contracted to your reservation. 2) You may schedule a trial and once you fall in love with us you can put down your retainer of $300 which is non refundable and non transferable via venmo 3) You will be sent your registry and contract to fill out, sign and send back within 7 days.

Do you provide personalized quotes?

We do not before booking. We have made all of our information transparent and up front to gauge a good idea of what you may be looking for ahead of time.

How is payment worked for the Big Day?

We invoice you. Due 14 days prior to your big day.
We prefer Venmo or Cash.
Visa mastercard is accepted with a 3% processing fee.
Check mailed in ahead of time with a 14 day clearance.

Do I need to know in advance how many people are having services done the day of?

We ask for confirmation 45 days prior so we can
properly invoice you and set up a time line.

Do you take multiple weddings in one day?

Yes! Please understand your service providers are contracted and hand picked for your service. We liken it to an 8 hours shift behind the chair. Your reservation is never rushed but proficient. You have many vendors to see that day and we all have our professional services to be executed. Should you want more time with your service providers you can contract us at $150 per hour for extra time. This includes the use of our loft as well. You will be given your window of time. Any additional time required is $150 per hour for time service providers are not working.

How do I know how to prepare for my big day?

We will send you an “I do” check list which goes over how you and your guests should prepare for us. This also includes a time schedule should you want to have everyone at your location at a specific time. Do you have to do this? Absolutely not…it is a tool to keep organized but as long as your guests are all at your location or in loft ready to go one after another, we watch the time and will keep you all going. We are pros!!

How do I book the loft?

Again with your retainer you will receive an additional loft agreement to sign and return. Understand the loft is booked on first come first serve basis. So hurry! 🙂

When should I do my trial?

We recommend as soon as possible so you can meet us and cross one more thing off your list! We ask for 3 or 4 dates so we can best accommodate you. Although you may read that some suggest to use it for another date…we do not recommend this. Your big day should have its own look although we will do our best to accommodate you. We do ask to do your trial no later than 30 days out.

Can I bring family members to my trial?

We recommend that you do come alone so we can really focus on you. Sometimes double interaction takes away from the time that we allot for the bride. We want you relaxed and to enjoy your experience with us. This can also be stressful for you and your service provider when there is too much happening. Some artists have private rooms which only allow 2 people in at a time. Just so you know up front.

What happens if someone drops out after my final confirmation in my window of final details or perhaps the day of?

Unfortunately as explained your service provider is contracted for this amount during this window of time. We suggest you replace this person with another guest. Otherwise the bride is responsible for paying for the amount contracted.

Can I add on after my confirmation?

Yes as long as your timeline allows for it. We are happy to.

We provide 1 service provider for up to 8 guests. After that we suggest adding another service provider at $150 each (one time fee) to cut your timeframe in half. Your service provider is happy to do 8 and up as well as you have a larger window of time to get ready. If it is an early morning wedding or you have time constaints we suggest 4 service providers from the start so we can properly prepare for you.

Do you have a portfolio?

Yes please see our website as we update it often. Also our Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest pages under A Touch of Color Makeup and Hair has all of the latest!

Do you sell hair extensions?

Absolutely and highly suggest them as even if you have long hair many of todays styles are showing much volume which can only be achieved by hair extensions. We have a beautiful wardrobe of them in studio that can be incorporated into your trial. We charge $45 for installation.

Are eyelash strips included in all pricing?

Absolutely! We do offer packages that include eyelash extensions which would need to be done the week of.

How do I know my start time and finish time?

Shary will be helping you with all of that once your final confirmation is in place so no stress is put on you. Note our team arrives early to set up no need to build this into your timeline. Our motto is if we arrive on time we are late.

Does Shary do a timeline for me per person?

If you wish to send her your guest list she will do this at an additional charge of $75 with one revision.

Can I reach out to my service provider for questions?

We ask please send all info to Shary direct at makeupbyss@gmail.com so there is no loss of details. Shary will forward any needs to your service provider. It is important for consistency and to keep any details flowing in the same direction.

Can I book just make up or just hair?

Of course!

Are there any additional fees I need to know about?

Travel, Single services on Sundays add $25 per service. Admin fees for additional changes or requests after your final confirmation is given. Under 30 days we ask all details be finalized and not changed unless an add on occurs. We look at every request case by case.

Do we provide a written quote?

Please understand we do not provide written quotes until we see our brides for a trial. We are very transparent on our website with all pricing to provide yourself with a guesstimate until all details are confirmed.
